***Please Schedule a Discovery Chat before Booking*** As a postpartum doula, I am there to help a new family in those first days, weeks and even months after bringing home a new baby. My services include, but are not limited to, help with self-care recovery, postpartum comfort measures, infant care, parenting information and assistance with learning to feed and take care of your baby, as well as other practical services. I believe that postpartum doula services for a family should last anywhere from a few days, a few weeks or if need be a few months after bringing home a new baby. I say a few months because especially as a new parent there are a lot of unknowns and support is needed even months after baby is here for mom and baby. Once you have requested me to act as your postpartum doula, I will provide the following services: I will provide one (1) prenatal meeting at your home or virtually. At this meeting, we will discuss and explore your priorities and concerns, and plan how to best work together to meet your needs. I will be available to answer questions about upcoming baby care or services anytime before the birth of your baby. Once your baby is born, here are some of the services I will provide in your postpartum recovery visit that takes place inside of the first 48 hours at home so you have support when you most need it. This visit also provides a great chance for both parents to catch a nap. Phone/Text support (I offer this also as an option as I am not available for overnight at this time) Education on postpartum issues Guidance with newborn care and feeding Breastfeeding support and tips Emotional support and nurturing for the new mother Help with postpartum care (ie: preparing sitz baths, Padsicles, energy healing, foot soaks, belly binding, etc) Healthy and nutritious meals and/or meal planning Light housekeeping (ie: light laundry and folding, tidying up) Babywearing support and education Cloth Diapering support and education Holistic Healing guidance Disclaimer: Doulas are not doctors or midwives, and do not practice medicine, nor diagnose and treat postpartum related symptoms. Cancellation Policy

A $50 non refundable fee will be applied to cancellations made less than 24 hours from appointment
